MEET: Jess Griffin

In 2012, Jess Griffin turned to yoga and meditation to heal from trauma and grief, leading her to become a certified yoga instructor. Teaching Hatha, Ashtanga, and Vinyasa yoga in Derry, NH, she integrated music to enhance the practice. Her journey took her to international retreats, but a transformative sound bath experience shifted her focus to sound healing.

Inspired by Edgar Cayce’s belief in the future of music and sound as medicine, Jess founded Sacred Soul Sound Healing, LLC in 2023. She offers sound healing services in Dunedin and the Greater Tampa Bay Area, collaborating with local businesses and healers. Jess believes that healing ourselves contributes to healing the world.

WHAT TO BRING/WEAR: 

Wear loose comfortable clothing. Bring a yoga mat, blanket, and possibly a pillow (if that is comfortable for you). If you do not have a mat, no worries, we have some here for you! Please note, that your yoga mat and clothing will be in a salt room and may be coated in salt. A damp cloth or a normal clean will easily remove the salt. We have a water cooler on location – bring your water bottle.

Halo yoga is yoga done in our salt room during a salt therapy session. While practicing yoga in the salt room, your breath deepens, which allows the salt particles to reach deep into your lungs to improve lung capacity while the negative ions help you relax and provide mental clarity. This is a wonderful gentle flow class that welcomes people of all experiences. 

PRIVATE  YOGA LESSONS WITH FRANNIE: Our private classes are all about you – your pace, your goals, your schedule. This is a perfect way for new and experienced practitioners of all skill levels to learn more about our yoga and what we offer. Call to book your session.

Frannie is one of our talented, licensed massage therapists. She has over 30 years of training and experience working in holistic health and wellness centers, spas, and chiropractic settings and has found a home at Salt Essentials. Frannie’s approach is nurturing, integrative, and intuitive.

  • Optional Way: Select your class teacher using our booking system. Currently, only one person can book online per class. If you’re unable to book through our system, you can add yourself to the waitlist, and we’ll enroll you in the class.
